Online & In person courses available
Online courses: are 2 hours of interactive learning via zoom with dates monthly from April – November – the online course does not include CPR or bandaging techniques. this course can be upgraded to a level 2 qualification.
In person courses: Are 4 hours of practical training held monthly at our South London Centre from April – November, OR we can come to you (minimum 5 participants required). The in person course will provide you the opportunity to practice bandaging and CPR on our model resuscitation dog. This course can be upgraded to a level 3 qualification.
Course Overview
This course is designed with the everyday pet owner in mind, requiring no prior first aid experience. It’s all about practical, easy-to-understand information that you can apply immediately. While it doesn’t offer a formal qualification, it provides the vital skills needed to help your dog in an emergency. The course
covers:
• Basic First Aid Principles for Dogs
• How to Handle Common Canine Emergencies
• Wound Care and Bandaging Techniques
This course does not cover canine CPR (Resuscitation)
