Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
This is extremely important as we are now located on a working farm where there are loose cats and dogs, as well as horses being ridden in an arena nearby.
Any owner allowing their dog off lead will be asked to leave.
Please do not allow your dog to bark at or approach any horses, whether they are grazing or being ridden.
Owners will be held liable for any accidents relating to their dogs upsetting the horses.
Please also note that touching or interfering with any of the horses or other livestock on the farm is strictly prohibited.
Walking Around the Estate
Our parking area is directly outside our premises.
Customers are not permitted to walk around the estate, as all properties are privately owned, including the wider car park.
Please remain within the areas designated for Barkers clients.
Toileting
We have a small grass area available for dogs to use for toileting.
Our staff will direct you to the area when you arrive.
Please remember to pick up after your dog.

Staff

Barkers K9 Hydro-Physio was born from a deeply personal journey. Having become disabled myself in 2020, I discovered first-hand the incredible benefits of hydrotherapy and physiotherapy. It was a game-changer for me, and I knew I wanted to bring that same healing power to dogs in need.
I had previously spent a life time working and rehabilitating horses and ponies suffering with the debilitating condition – laminitis. Sadly working with horses is no longer an option for me, and I decided to turn my passion for animals towards helping dogs. I absolutely love watching the improvement in all of our dogs physical and mental wellbeing.

I graduated with an Integrated Master’s in Veterinary Physiotherapy in July 2025 and I am dedicated to helping dogs regain strength, comfort, and confidence, allowing them to move freely and enjoy the activities they love. My journey into canine rehabilitation began when my own dog was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis at a young age. Seeing him struggle sparked my passion for physiotherapy and led to a particular interest in supporting dogs with hip dysplasia. I’m committed to providing kind, individual care and supporting each dog and owner throughout their rehabilitation journey.
